Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 June 2026
By using newsdeck.live ("Newsdeck", "the service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Newsdeck aggregates publicly available news, distils each story into short summaries ("TL;DR" and "Longer Read"), and presents them in a live, customisable deck. Summaries are generated automatically and link to the original publisher.
Your account
- Provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One person per account; don't impersonate others.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: abuse, scrape, or overload the service; attempt to bypass security or rate limits; post unlawful, hateful, harassing or infringing content in comments; or use the service to break any applicable law.
Content & accuracy
Summaries are produced automatically from third-party sources and may contain errors or omissions. Market data (e.g. stock and crypto prices) is sourced from third parties and may be delayed or inaccurate. Nothing on Newsdeck is financial, legal, or professional advice. Always check the original source before relying on any information. We are not responsible for the content or availability of external sites we link to.
User comments
You retain ownership of comments you post but grant us a licence to display them within the service. We may remove content that breaches these terms.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Newsdeck will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
